Ingolf Thuesen

 I hold a Magister-degree and a PhD from University of Copenhagen specializing in the pre- and protohistory of the Ancient Near East with focus on Iraq, Syria and Jordan. Today I am also working with cultural heritage issues, for instance, cultural heritage as cultural value and identity and cultural ownership. I participated in a fact finding mission to Iraq after the war in 2003 for UNESCO and at present I am acting as CEO of a large scale archaeology and heritage project in the State of Qatar (the Qatar Islamic archaeology and Heritage project-QIAH). I am the Project director for the Shkarat Msaied project.
